Help Feed Our Need!

In 2016, Mountain Valley Horse Rescue began its quest to find a forever home for our operation and rescue horses. We were fortunate to have raised our first $1 million dollars to acquire the perfect ranch.

We are now embarking on Phase II of our campaign and the step toward our $1.6 million goal of developing the buildings on the property is to ensure the feed for our horses is protected from the elements. This structure is called a Stackyard and we are intending to build it this spring and summer. And as we embark on our big goal for all of our capital projects, we hope you will find it in your heart to help with this first step, to raise $23,000 to complete the Stackyard.

Without a stackyard, hay is exposed to the elements and susceptible to mold. MVHR currently covers hay for our horses with tarps, but those tarps are at the mercy of our strong wind and weather! With your help, we can keep our horses safely and properly fed.
