We can help market your horse via our website and social media pages, in hopes of finding them a new private home without them ever entering the Rescue system. If space is available at the ranch, or your need is critical, rehoming via MVHR ensures that your beloved friend will be well cared for and given the space and time they need to find their next chapter.

United Horse Coalition Resources
The UHC was created in 2005 to address welfare concerns regarding “unwanted” (now termed “at-risk”) horses during the economic downturn. Its mission is clear: “Through industry collaboration, the UHC promotes education and options for at-risk and transitioning horses.”
Twenty years later, our organization is paving a better way to prevent horses from becoming at risk by addressing the root causes of relinquishment through education, resources, and industry collaboration. By providing horse owners with essential tools, research insights, and a vast support network, UHC works proactively to keep horses safe, ensuring they remain in loving homes, or if necessary, helping to rehome them responsibly.
Have you heard about the United Horse Coalition’s Equine Resource Database (UHCERD)? The UHCERD is an incredible network of over 1,200 equine organizations throughout the U.S. These organizations offer many different types of services, or financial assistance for some services, to help owners in times of need. These services and resources include things such as hay or feed assistance, veterinary assistance, direct placement services, euthanasia procedure assistance, castration assistance, and much more. Equine owners in need can go to our database and search directly for what they need in their state. The UHCERD is easy to use and regularly audited to make sure information is up to date.
No horse should be placed at risk when resources might be available to help them just a click away.
